Absolutely! We take great pride in making garages look fantastic. A neat rubber edging is included in your price. But for really nice finish (and a touch of class), we recommend our popular aluminium edging. It’s more durable, and gives your garage a sharp, clean finish.

Don’t worry. Your carpet is made from a 100% water-proof synthetic material. It won’t absorb moisture, rot or smell, and the water will evaporate naturally.

- Our rubber edging is glued to the concrete surface and abuts to carpet edge.

- Our aluminium edging is screwed into the concrete surface and overlaps the carpet edge, providing more effective long-term protection and a superior finish.

Our Premium Elan garage carpet is manufactured in China, just like all the other good stuff we have around our homes. At 7mm thick and weighing 800gsm, all our ranges of needle punched garage carpet are durable, waterproof, UV stabilised and soft underfoot. We now also stock the increasingly popular Crazy XL carpet; made in Belgium by one of the biggest carpet manufacturers in the world. 

Our Autex carpet is made in New Zealand and it is regarded as the very best in the market. You'll easily identify this when you compare a sample against any other garage carpet. We love Autex carpet so much that we designed our very own Premium Elan garage carpet to meet the same product specifications but at a more affordable price. 

Yes of course, just like other flooring products do. But our joins are almost impossible to notice as we “double cut” and glue.

No, unlike household carpet, garage carpet is completely glued to the surface this ensures no movement within the carpet when cars drive onto it.

Yes, our carpet is of the highest quality and is designed for cars. The carpet also comes with a lifetime guarantee against zippering.

Around 98% of garage floors require little or no surface preparation. Our standard surface prep is included in your price which ensures your garage floor is prepared in accordance with the "Best Practice Guidelines for the Flooring Industry - 2019"

If your concrete surface is porous or uneven it will likely require some additional preparation at a small cost to ensure the surface is smooth enough for the carpet to be laid.

Our installers are all employees of Affordable Garage Carpet. We are not a franchise and do not subcontract to any third party installers. Garage carpet installation is our area of expertise which means we are able to provide a unique service. By only ever using our own installers, we are able to guarantee our customers will receive a high quality installation & positive experience every time.

Yes of course. We have comprehensive public liability insurance to ensure everyone is covered. Peace of mind for both us and you. 

An average double garage install will only take our amazing installers 3.5 hours from start to finish, minimal disruption to your day! 

We understand how busy life is during the week, so we can install on some weekends too. Just be sure to give us as much notice as possible as these fill up quick!

Please remove all items out of your garage. If you have large/heavy items that you may require assistance with just let us know in advance and we are more than happy to help.

Yes of course, we understand it can be hard to completely clear the garage. Please contact us for more information on the price for an installation split over two separate days. Our preference is to install in one visit as it is easier for us and cheaper for you. Win, Win!

To get the best result, it’s important you wait 48 hours before driving your car on to the carpet to allow the glue to set. You may notice some indentations from car tyres (just as you see in household carpet from furniture). However, by waiting 48 hours you are giving the glue time to fully set without the carpet fibres being compressed by the car tyres. You'll be able to brush out indentations at anytime. During this time we recommend ventilating your garage as much as possible to allow the vapour to dissipate.

A quick vacuum is all that is required for standard cleaning maintenance. Stains such as oil should be cleaned with warm household dish detergent and a soft brush. 

Majority of garages are designed so that vehicles can be driven or reversed in, without the need to turn the car wheels. In these instances, you will only get indentations in the area of the carpet where the wheels have been. These indentations can be brushed out at any time using a blunt object. We do not recommend turning your steering wheel while the vehicle is stationary on the garage carpet as this can cause the carpet to lift & wear in this area.
